Responsibilities:

1. Consult with clients to understand their requirements and provide hair styling recommendations.
2. Cut, trim, and shape hair based on clients' preferences and the latest fashion trends.
3. Offer hair treatments, including deep conditioning, coloring, and styling.
4. Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
5. Stay updated with the latest hair techniques and styling trends.
6. Provide guidance and recommendations on hair products suited for clients' hair type and style preferences.
7. Work collaboratively with the salon team to provide exceptional service and ensure client satisfaction.
8. Salon Manager Duties:As the Salon Manager at you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations of the salon, ensuring that both staff and clients experience a seamless and positive experience. Your duties will encompass managing staff schedules, overseeing inventory and ordering of products, handling customer feedback and complaints, and ensuring financial targets are met. You will also be responsible for recruiting and training new staff, promoting the salon's services and offerings, and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and compliance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

1. NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Hairdressing or equivalent.
2. Proven experience as a Hair Stylist with a portfolio showcasing previous work.
3. Proficient in hair straightening and curling methods, using hot irons and curlers.
4. Knowledge of a wide range of haircuts, suitable for all hair types and lengths.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Flexibility to work in different salon locations and during weekends.
